Besides kitchen and bathroom remodel, we also upgraded all our flooring, doors, window treatments, ceiling fans and repainted all our walls and ceilings in 2022. They look absolutely beautiful and we are very happy with our choices. We spent many hours searching for materials and paint colors. We would like to share them with you and hope this will help you with your home upgrade!
Flooring
We used luxury vinyl planks for our entire home. We chose luxury vinyl planks not only because they are beautiful, but also water-resistant, require low-maintenance and are affordable.
Interior Doors
We changed all our interior doors to 2-Panel square design for their modern look.
Plantation Shutters
We installed wood plantation shutters for all our windows except for the kitchen window. They look beautiful and are easy to clean. We enjoy them much more than the window blinds that we had before.

Ceiling Fans
We changed all our ceiling fans for their modern look.
Paint
Exterior Paint
Since our stucco is 70 years old, we used elastomeric paint on the stucco to avoid water leaks from the exterior walls. We liked the black and white contrast, so we used a black door and black window shutters against white trims and off-white walls.
Interior Paint
We used the same paint color for our entire walls except for our bathroom. As for the ceiling, we use the same color as our majority of walls but with different sheen.
We love all the materials and accessories that we listed above. They made our 70 year old home look new again! So far everything looks and works great. We will update our website next year to show how they are holding up.
